What do you check first?

Yesterday, I tweeted a question: What's the first thing you check in the morning?
It was actually supposed to be a comment about my addiction to scrabble, but seems everyone has their own priorities! I've collated the responses:

Responses via twitter:
  1. mobile phone, email, twitter (or twitted, predictive txt offering), facebook
  2. FB everytime
  3. Facebook! For scrabble and actions of friends in other countries :-) Then email, RSS, twitter last ...
  4. I'm afraid to admit that the first thing I do us check Twitter while the kettle boils for my first cuppa.
Responses via Facebook:
  1. Plurk then RSS
  2. At home, Twitter then Facebook. At work, email then Facebook.
  3. First my sales at Shutterstock, then see if Scrabble will open
  4. Facebook, then ebay sales.
  5. I just check that the pack lunches and PE kits are sorted and I've locked the front door - anything more is too complicated!
I was most surprised to see that 3 of my twitter followers mentioned Facebook as one of their highest priorities to check...surprised, I think, because for me I so rarely check facebook activity streams.

I haven't come to any profound conclusions about user-types based on this wide-scale survey(!) but find it interesting to see such clear web/communication loyalties amongst my contacts.
